In short
We migrate cPanel accounts from your current host to your reseller account for free, with files, databases and email. You tell us which accounts, we copy them, you check, then you switch the nameservers. Done carefully, clients see no downtime.
What we move
- Website files and databases.
- Email accounts and messages.
- DNS zones, subdomains and settings.
- WordPress and other apps exactly as they are.
Step by step
- List the accounts to move: domain, current host, cPanel login (or a full cPanel backup).
- Open a ticket asking for a free migration to your reseller account.
- We copy everything to new accounts under your WHM, on the package you choose.
- You check each site with a preview link before going live.
- Switch nameservers (to your private nameservers) or update A records.
- Keep the old hosting for a few days while DNS propagates.
Avoid lost email
During the switch, some email can still arrive at the old server. Keep old mailboxes active for a few days, and ask clients to check webmail on both if anything seems missing. We can sync mail again after the switch.
Moving a non-cPanel site
Sites from other panels or site builders can be moved too, usually by copying files and databases; some need manual work. Tell us what you have and we’ll advise.
Communicate with clients
- Tell them the date and that their site should not go offline.
- Send their new cPanel login (under your brand).
- Explain new email settings if they change.
After the move
- Check SSL is issued on every domain (it’s automatic once DNS points to us).
- Set up the accounts in WHMCS so invoices and renewals continue.
- Remove old hosting once everything works.
